1. This is an as-is, where-is auction. Buyer is fully responsible for the bid tendered and is to be aware of the year, model, equipment and mileage regardless of announcements made. The vehicle you see on the block is the vehicle on which you are bidding. No warranty given or implied.
2. No one under the age of 16 admitted. To qualify as a bidder, you must be at least 18 years of age and registered with the Car & Truck Auction.
3. In order to gain admission Bidders are required to place a $500.00 Cash Deposit at the time of registration. This allows the Bidder to bid on and purchase one vehicle. If the Bidder wishes to bid on more than one vehicle a seperate $500.00 Cash Deposit must be made for each additional vehicle. The additional deposit (s) must be made at the time of registration. If you do not purchase a vehicle the deposit(s) will be refunded after the sale ends. If you are a successful bidder and purchase a vehicle your deposit of $500.00 in cash will be applied to the purchasse price on the day of the auction. The Balance is payable in Cash or Certified funds on the next business day-Friday by 4:00 P.M.-payable to Car and Truck Auction of Maryland, Inc. 803 Bel Air Road, Bel Air, MD 21014. Immediate removal of the vehicle upon payment in full. Cash or Certified funds only-personal checks or credit cards are not accepted. Purchases of $10,000.00 or greater requires a deposit of 10% of the purchase price. Dealers must settle in full on the auction day.
4. Failure to consummate sale pursuant to agreement will cause forfeiture of deposit if balance is not paid within 24 hours of sale date. Bidder is responsible for any and all costs and/or shortfall amounts as a result of not consummating sale as set forth.
5. Upon acceptance of bid by seller, buyer is responsible for payment, in full, of purchase made.
6. A Buyer's fee will be added to the price of each unit sold. Buying party agrees to pay the Buyer's fee to the Car & Truck Auction of MD.
7. Consignment subject to additions and/or deletions up to, including, and through sale time. Sellers reserve the right to withdraw any vehicle prior to sale. Acceptance of bids and consummation of sale is subject to approval of legal owner.
8. Auction management reserves the right to accept or reject consignments to auctions.
9. If not already inspected, Maryland consumer purchasers, must have vehicle inspected according to article 66 1/2, section 13.106 of the Maryland Annotated Code at your expense.
10. All vehicles approved for final sale must be paid in full and removed by close of business the following day - Friday, to avoid a $15.00 per day warehousing fee.
11. Any vessel / boat will have a five percent (5%) Maryland State sales tax added to the accepted bid amount pursuant to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources regulations. This tax will be collected at time of full settlement at the Car & Truck Auction of Maryland and will be remitted to the State.
12. Any vehicle, car, truck, etc. purchases are subject to tax collection only at time of vehicle titling/registration at the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles. Tax will be collected at the MVA, not at time of purchase at the CTA Auction.
