Bel Air Auto Auction is looking for Part Time & Full Time Security Guards to work for our multiple facilities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and enforcing security protocols.
Responsibilities:
– Manage the flow of traffic and vehicles coming into and out of the Auction.
– Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity
– Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety of individuals and property
– Enforce security protocols and company policies
– Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly
– Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of events
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Skills:
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
– Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
– Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures to provide immediate assistance if needed
– Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV monitoring, to ensure the safety of the premises
– Understanding of loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property
Qualifications:
– Gun Permit preferred but not mandatory.
– Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
– Prior Security or Law Enforcement Experience preferred but not mandatory.
